English Teaching & School Support Volunteering

Many Malagasy schools do not have the skills or means to sufficiently train teachers and so local children do not have access to a high standard of education.

Through volunteer participation we hope to improve literacy skills and also provide an opportunity for children to participate in after-school homework support.

We are currently supporting both a Primary School and a High School and you will most likely have the opportunity to assist at both schools during your programme. Depending on the current teaching schedule you may also have the opportunity to assist at a local Pre-School.

You will be provided with a basic curriculum to follow, however we encourage you to adapt this curriculum to include your own ideas! Depending on your individual skills, you may also have the opportunity to assist with training local teachers.
