Oxford Law Program

Descriere program

This is the oldest continuing program sponsored by a US law school in Oxford. In its 43rd year, this program seeks to provide the chance for participants to learn about the history of the common law and study comparative law in the original setting. St. Edmund Hall will house participants, a part of Oxford University College. Edmund of Abingdon is believed to have taught and lived in this location and he was a monk who subsequently became Archbishop of Canterbury, tracing the roots of this hall to the 13th century. This is the only remaining original Oxford community after having been named in 1317. This is an optimal location for excursions and trips to Wales, Scotland, Stratford-upon-Avon, and London, among other nearby areas.
