International Reporting in Jerusalem

A month-long program based out of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel. It is available to any English-speaking university student. Program focuses on International Reporting with daily personal interactive experiences with leaders and community members. Students work directly with professional journalists and experts in Israeli/Palestinian political system. Students have direct interaction with international and domestic media news bureaus. Organized trips are planned to Palestinian and Israeli lands in dispute as well as religious sites. Site visits to residents and community leaders in disputed neighborhoods and religious site. Organized travel and translators available. Job shadow experiences also available.

The program allows students the opportunity to learn, first hand, the political and religious conflicts and institutions that define this region of the world. Students will receive multi-media instruction from media professionals as well as background on the politics of the region. The program includes visits with political leaders and common people from across religious and political spectrums. The month-long program concludes with the student publishing of a multi-media website.
