Full Study programme

The Full Study programme at Badminton consists of a minimum of 22.5 hours of tuition per week and 6-8 students per class. With high levels of personal attention, each student works towards their individual goals.

The morning lessons focus on developing accuracy in speaking, listening, reading and writing. In the afternoon the students participate in debates, seminars, presentations, drama activities and workshops to encourage confidence and fluency. Through hard work and consistent, constructive feedback the students improve on their presentational skills, interpersonal skills, debating skills and critical thinking skills, as well as English. Every evening their is an hour of homework and a test every Friday afternoon to ensure they keep up with the fast pace. As you can tell, OISE programmes are for the very hard-working, high achieving, ambitious students!

In the late afternoon and early evening students are provided with an exciting after-class activity schedule designed to encourage spontaneous use of the English language. Badminton school has excellent on-site sports and leisure facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, sports hall, theatre and outdoor playing fields. Other activities include drama class workshops, birds of prey display, music workshops, fashion and talent shows.

Every Saturday students will attend a full-day excursion, usually to Bath, London or Oxford. On Sundays students will participate in activities and attend local excursions into Bristol.

Accommodation is in residence. The residence is very comfortable and beautifully decorated.
