Woodworking Machine Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Woodworking Machine Supervisor is an important part of the team and is responsible for woodworking machine as well as playing an important role in safety, practices/systems and productivity.

Duties:
•Supervising, instructed, schedule activities, and maintenance of unique, BRATEX custom-build woodworking machines;
•Utilizing carpenter’s skills and execute a rich knowledge of forestry, trees and how to best use wood materials;
•Resolve work issues with apprentice workers for completion of all fixes and finishes of high-end hardwood panels;


• Meeting work completion deadlines under heavy time constraints, whilst leading delegating jobs/activities and maintaining complete attention to detail, superior quality and excellent quality control of the product;
• Estimating quantities and requisition of materials and fixings needed for completion of projects;
• To liaise with numerous foreman/superintendents to inspect and ensure complete quality control of all machine works completed.

Qualifications/Skills Requirements/work Experience:
• Hands-on knowledge of wood materials is an asset,
• Understanding of European quality of materials is an asset.
