Systems Administrator

What is expected of you?

Implement and maintain the company’s Active Directory, VPN, DNS, FTP and PBX systems.
Develop and maintain scripts and utilities that aid in the operation, automation, and administration of systems, networks, and other operational tasks.
Monitor systems for optimum performance and availability
Implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates)
Troubleshoot and resolve internally-reported system problems
Document and implement system procedures, policies and events
Perform essential functions required for effective system backup and restore testing
Be available to be on call in case of emergencies.

What are you expected to bring?

A Degree in Information Technology or work experience to compensate
An ability to develop workflows to automate tasks and processes
Experience in Scripting, SQL and API
Good working knowledge of networking, routers, switches, firewalls and virtualization platforms
Proficient in both Windows and Linux
