Syndicated Loan Operations Officer

We are looking for a Syndicated Loan Operations Officer to join a team responsible for closing off syndicate loan trades and managing the flow of trade information, preparing and setting-up trade bookings and settlements, maintaining detailed and accurate trade records as well as monitoring the distribution of trade knowledge throughout the required areas.


What is expected of you?

Support team members with day to day tasks such as trade closing, settlement of loans, funds flows, ticking fees, paydowns, drawdowns etc.
Support the settlement process of primary loan syndications and secondary loan trades, including all funding and documentation matters
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
Build relationships with counterparts to encourage prompt settlement of trades
Review and update BMS and Solvas Portfolio to make sure data is correct and consistent across the system
Perform daily cash reconciliation
Support the team and other departments with adhoc tasks and queries

What are you expected to bring?

Degree or Diploma in Banking or a related area
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Basic knowledge of LMA Standard documentation
Prior experience using Trade Management Systems will be considered an asset
