Solution Architect (English)

The Company.

For one of our clients an international company based in Barcelona, we are currently recruiting a Solution Architect.

The Job.

Being part of the Solution Architect team, you will work with stakeholders across the global Applications and wider BusTech functions to understand complex business requirements and design solutions, supporting their development and implementation. You will have ownership and drive progress in the technology offering to support the new operating model.
Your main responsibilities will be:

– Work with the Applications and Change teams to ensure solution building blocks are correctly identified
– Build an understanding of current architecture to inform the design and implementation of solutions that will deliver the global operating model
– Create architectural deliverables for global and regional projects and programs
– Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure that programs are aligned with agreed principles and standards
– Identify and, as appropriate resolve, escalate and document key issues, risks, and decisions
– Communicate and collaborate across Business Technology functions to ensure alignment of strategy, targets and roadmaps
– Business analysis and modelling

The Profile.

The ideal candidate has a high understanding in IT and previous experience as a Solution Architect. Beside your technical skills, you need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

– You have an excellent level of English (spoken/written)
– You have minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect/Business Architect/IT Consultant
– You have experience of working in largescale technology-led change programs
– You have experience particularly supporting operating model transformations with innovative and appropriate solutions architecture
– You have a strong understanding of IT industry trends and methodologies
– You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
– You have strong analytical skills and attention to details
– You are comfortable working in a global / matrix team environment
