Senior Applications and Database Specialist

We are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Applications and Database Specialist on behalf of our client operating within Malta’s financial services sector. If you thrive in a challenging and dynamic environment, ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

Design, develop and maintain database systems using Microsoft SQL Server
Define users, permissions and enable data distribution accordingly and efficiently
Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
Perform on-going tests and evaluations to ensure optimum security
Implement effective software within the company using modern technologies
Configure and maintain systems and processes
Administer business applications
Develop test scripts and documents which may be automated
Perform other tasks as required

What is expected of you?

A solid background in Technology or another related field
Having analytics-related certifications would be considered an asset
Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
An eye-for-detail and time-management skills
Effective communications skills in English, both verbal and written
