Senior Android Developer

GCS Recruitment are looking for a Senior Android Developer to work with one of the leading financial companies in Malta.

Responsibilities:
• Creating and building advanced applications for the Android platform
• Liaising with various teams to implement, design and introduce new features
• Collaborating with other IT specialists to create optimum software
• Conducting unit-test code for robustness, functionality, as well as to ensure general reliability
• Configure any possible bugs and enhance application performance

Requirements:

• BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar subject
• Experience in software development and Android app development
• Have published at least one original Android app
• Experience using Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
