Security System Engineer

• INTRAROM is seeking a self-driven individual with pre-sales and hands on technical experience wishing to further develop his/her career in the IT Security domain;
• This position will focus on proactively supporting INTRAROM’s security portfolio, as a pre-sales system engineer;
• This position is part of IT Services Department with a motivating technical career opportunity within the expanding IT Infrastructure Support Team.

Main Responsibilities:
• Deliver workshops / technical discussions and proof of concept (PoC) with customers to demonstrate business objectives are met by the proposed solutions;
• On-site visits and hands-on configuration may be required;
• Must be able to convey a powerful security narrative to both technical and non-technical customers and be able to handle technical questions;
• Mainly focus on pre-sales activities, but perform post-sales support as needed.

Required Education and Experience:
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the Information Security Industry and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Deep information security related technical knowledge, strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously from our sales reps;
• Strong background in Layer 4-7 technologies and protocols;
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with various security technologies such as firewalls, load balancing, DLP, reverse proxies, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Encryption, Authentication & Authorization, web application security etc.;
• Hands-on experience with switches & routers, network appliances;
• Clear understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems;
• At least three professional certifications obtained from any of the following vendors: CISCO, F5, Palo Alto, Juniper, Blue Coat, Check Point, Symantec, Fortinet;
• At least one Industry Recognized Certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, CEH or CCIE.
