Scala Developer

Company offers advanced charging solutions for drivers of electric vehicles (EV) and EV charge locations. All their activities aim to facilitate drivers of (Plug-in Hybrid) EV’s to drive as many kilometers on electricity as possible using electricity retrieved from renewable energy sources. There is a unique mix of expertise - with extensive experience in the technology and telecommunication sectors plus a passion for providing smart solutions that are good for people, the planet and our customers wallets.

Work on our Scala applications with an international team of 19 developers;
Expandi and improve our existing Scala applications according to the needs of the business by, among others, adding new features;
Help making architecture and design decisions together with the team.

Minimum 2 years of work experience in Scala software development;
Strong interest in functional programming;
Knowledge of Akka, Spray and building REST APIs is a plus;
Experience with Scrum and/or Kanban is a plus;
Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments;
Self-starter, great sense of responsibility, team-player;
Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
