SAP Architect

We are currently hiring for a Staff Architect for our premier client in Springdale, AR. This is a 6+ month contract position in the consumer-packaged goods industry.



WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Technical Requirements and Certifications »

Proficiency with Cloud technologies and concepts, Real-time analytics
Building data-analytic solutions leveraging technologies including HANA, Hadoop, Spark, NIFI, Kafka, Python, R
Education and Experience »

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical area. Equivalent work experience may be acceptable
8+ years of progressive experience in Information Systems or related area, or advanced degree with 6+ years of progressive experience
2+ years of experience working with AWS or other cloud providers
Advanced understanding & experience with System Development Lifecycle Methodology with experience in more than one business and/or IT functional areas
Experience in the development to production lifecycle of large applications, distributed systems, web based, and ERP systems
Experience migrating traditional architectures to next-gen data-analytic technology solutions
Hands-on experience building prototypes using modern Data-analytic tools
Experience architecting Real-time solutions to enable business capabilities
Coding experience on next-gen data tools such as Spark, Hive, Python is a plus
Hands-on experience integrating open source components into data-analytic solutions
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills; ability to interacting with all management levels within the business and IT organizations

Job Responsibilities »

Responsible for architecting, prototyping solutions for next-gen Business use cases using Advanced analytic and Real-time Data solutions
Work closely with vendors in their area of expertise to gain a complete understanding of their current products and their strategic direction as well and understand how the technology fits together and creates a complete solution
Work closely with other IT groups & management to ensure that the company has a viable IT architecture today and a long-range architecture blue print for the future
Demonstrate both the breadth and depth of knowledge in terms of the evolving Big Data landscape and developing modern cloud-based business solutions
Deliver on Advanced analytics strategy, ranging from architecting Open source based Big data-analytic tools and building integrated solutions that meet enterprise needs
Partner with the Product managers and owners to understand business requirements and develop architecture patterns that can be built by the engineers
Build a culture of learning and innovation with the ability to learn new data technologies / practices and spearheading adoption within the organization
Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in technology communities and act as an internal mentor to users of these platforms
Embrace innovation, implement cutting edge technologies and align solution to meet our customer needs
Must work with Change Management, Release Management, and Cloud Enablement teams to align strategy for how we build QA, Testing, and Controls into the deployment and releases process in a way that eliminates the manual need for testing and deployment efforts
