Research assistant

Growing Silicon Valley tech startup is looking for a research assistant to help with projects dealing in international business. Responsibilities:

Assist in research-related tasks including data collection and compilation
Prepare data and information for projects using the appropriate software
Conduct literature reviews and perform data analysis
Handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
Manage and respond to project-related correspondence
Participate in the design, administration, and monitoring of research projects
Review and edit data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and qualifications:

Self-motivation and developed research skills
High level of responsibility to complete tasks timely and autonomously
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn new software and research techniques as needed
Flexibility in adjusting to new work-related requirements as they arise
Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office, internet, and electronic media
Be attentive to detail and an avid reader
