Network Security Engineer

The purpose of this role is to provide operational support to IT, mainly regarding all the connectivity and Endpoint Mobile Device Management. Deploy and manage perimeter controls extending to end user devices using environments such as Palo Alto Remote Access VPN platform, office Firewalls, networks and WIFI, Office 365 Security Center and Microsoft device management solutions. Support implementation and audit of Security and Compliance requirements for corporate IT environments.

Support 2nd line to subjects related to Palo Alto, Fortinet and Microsoft technologies.


Key Responsibilities






Providing 2nd line support to staff globally
Providing 1st line support where necessary
Manage PaloAlto SaaS remote access solutions
Manage Fortinet Firewalls
Manage Meraki Switching and WIFI
Management of day-to-day IT related to Microsoft cloud technologies (O365 and Azure) and Mobiel Device Management.
Administration tasks of key IT systems including internal and Cloud infrastructure used by Truphone.
Monitoring internal IT end-users for security patching
Support Security and Compliance requirements and audits for IT systems and user workstations.
Azure and O365 security monitoring.
Managing and maintaining backups for internal IT systems and Cloud
Provide support on internal IT projects as directed by the IT Support Manager
Manage external professional services providers
Defining and maintaining IT processes ensuring they are streamlined and effective.
Create system and end user documentation as required.

2-3 years of working in Networking and Security Roles in IT environments
PaloAlto Firewall Administration preferable SaaS deployments
Fortinet Firewall Administration
IPSEC and SSL VPN administration
Meraki Switching and WIFI
L2 and L3 routing and switching knowledge
O365 Security Administration and Microsoft Azure
Azure IaaS network and security
Office 365
User Access Management with Azure AD, SSO, SAML
Security
Compliance
ATP
InTune MDM
Proven experience managing day to day workload, knowing when to prioritize and the ability to work self-sufficiently.
Demonstrated the ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude towards sharing expertise and assisting others to learn.
Excellent communication skills, able to confidently work at all levels within the company.
