We are looking for a Middle Office Operations Officer to join a team that is responsible for reconciliations and the preparation and set up of trade bookings and settlements, within the banking sector. This position is being offered for a definite period of one year, based on a 30 hour week
What is expected of you?
Analyse and set up new correspondent banks and NOSTROs
Perform the daily reconciliation of NOSTROs accounts and periodic reconciliations of other suspense accounts
Maintain and distribute the Bank's cash and securities settlements SSIs
Define and maintain SSIs, new securities and cashflow
Handle investigations of payments, unreconciled items and perform regular reconciliations of trailer fees

An advanced level standard of education
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Working experience within the banking industry and knowledge of SWIFT product suite will be considered an asset
