Linux Support Engineer (Fully remote recruitment process)

For one of our clients – a company that offers complex technology solutions – we are
looking for Linux Support Engineer.

Recruitment and job application in time of coronavirus is not a new book, but everyday life. All interviews will be conducted online or by phone for your comfort. The hiring process, starting dates and initial trainings with our clients have been tailored according to the official prescriptions and some of them will be conducted online.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
* Direct involvement with designing, developing and maintaining the existing cloud services;
* Provide engineering support and optimize central cervices and Linux OS settings;
* Conduct performance and error analysis through a variety of monitoring tools;
* Perform OS troubleshooting and fix performance issues;
* Use scripting tools in order to automate and upgrade processes;
* Collaboration across the team to develop and refine ideas that provide value for the stakeholders.

Requirements:
* Good level of English;
* Ability to work on late shifts;
* Background in scripting and automation;
* Experience with virtualization products;
* Experience with SCRUM practices;
* Strong knowledge of Linux and open-source software;
* Enthusiastic about new and interactive technologies.
