Lead Juniper Engineer

The role of the Campus/ Remote Business Office (RBO) Lead Engineer will involve the following activities or skills:
• Overseeing of the RBO deployments within the assigned region. Some weekday evenings and some possible weekends.
• For the most part this is a Brownfield deployment, displacing other vendor equipment for a Juniper solution.
• Keep Design Documents up to date, as adaptations of the current Design for Next GEN Campus Network (NGCN)/RBO.
• Delivery of Configurations using automation
• Interaction with UBS’s Implementation teams and UBS’s Partner(s) for deployment
• Technical Expertise focused on Juniper Networks products (MX, EX, QFX, NFX)
• Strong technical background in routing, IPSEC, GRE, MPLS, VPLS , BGP and telecom service provider circuit troubleshooting/turn-up
• Good skills around Automation (Ansible, NITA)

This Engineer will be supported by a regional Project Manager within UBS and as well within UBS’s designated Deployment Partner or VAR. These PM resources are responsible for managing workflows and schedules to ensure on-time delivery of kits and services in each physical location.
