Lead Accountant

You will be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closing, leading reviews of closing checklist to ensure all closing related issues have been resolved. You will have a chance to participate in reviewing, controlling and monitoring the reconciliation process and issue handling regarding financial data. You will be responsible for financial reporting and identifying key financial data to enhance the leadership’s decision making. You have the chance the ensure compliance to financial standards and practices and acting as a key contact for Auditors and Controllers. Nevertheless your tasks will also include brainstorming for ideas to simplify the processes and to improve closing activities and mentoring, supporting the junior accountants in the team. In case of process migration, you will actively participate in the coordination, monitoring the transitions.

We are looking for applicants who have at least 3 years experience in accounting and some experience with US GAAP and are proficient n English. SAP knowledge is an advantage. Furthermore you have effective interpersonal and communication skills when dealing with affiliates.
