Key Account Manager OEM System EMEA

What you will do
In this challenging and important role you are responsible for the management of selected existing- or prospective complex or multi-site Key Accounts in the EMEA territory. You will operate at a strategic level and understand structure, strategy, product gap and product roadmap of those allocated key accounts. This position will generate new leads for the Partnering Business and focus on building and maintain relationships with those established customers.

Responsibilities will include
Selling and managing of allocated OEM partners in the territory: annual order intake / sales and pricing / gross profit margins and customer satisfaction
Business Development supporting the Partnering Business for the current and potential new future products of the Tecan group with exception of components.
Working with the Customer Solution Development group to define the best configuration
for new automation solutions for our prospective partners with manufacturing costs, development costs and timeline
Development and maintenance of a territory strategy plan
Identifying new opportunities (portfolio gap analysis or exploring a new market segment)
Writing contract proposals and contract negotiation
Preparing forecast figures and budget

What you bring along
A Master or PhD in Science or Engineering
experience in Business Management or strategic selling
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large accounts in an international environment
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Life Science/Diagnostic field with existing contracts
Experience with negotiation and bringing contracts to signing
Experience with management of a business unit and leadership
Excellent English skills and good German skills
Very good negotiation and communication skills
