Summary

We are looking for a talented and accomplished Junior Finance Accountant who will be responsible for preparing asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

With strong analytical skills, the Junior Finance Accountant will ensure and document financial transactions and recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options and auditing documents.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Secures financial information by completing data base backups
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
• Able to meet deadlines
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
• Proficient English speaker and in MS Excel


Education

• Technical accounting course or experienced related


Experience Target

Up to 1 Year experience in corporate environment valued
