Junior Accountant w/ German

For one of our client, an international Shared Service Center based in Barcelona, we are currently recruiting for a Junior Accountant with business knowledge of German.

The Job.

In this role, you will be in charge of the Balance Sheet Reconciliations activities for the assigned German subsidiaries of the Group.
Your responsibilities:
– Prepayments & Accruals
– Bank/Cash & cash equivalents
– Preparation of cashflow reports and cash forecasts
– Master data management including internal audit checks
– Preparation of documents for audit
-Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures

Once you will be successfully performing these processes, you will have the opportunity to grow within the department and hold the following responsibilities:
– Record fix assets acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system
– Calculate depreciation and net values for all fixed assets
– Receive and issue invoices for intercompany recharges
– Perform intercompany reconciliations
– Take care of intercompany Reports and payments
– Perform administrative tasks related to transfer pricing

– You have an excellent level of English + professional German
– You have Accounting/Finance Bachelor or Master
– A previous experience in a Finance or Accounting position is a plus (but not a must – recent graduate with high potential are considered)
– You have experience in an international environment
– You have strong analytical skills
– You are rigorous and detail oriented
– You have strong organisation and prioritization skills
– You are responsible and have the ability to take ownership on your tasks
– You have problem-solving capabilities
– You are a team player
