Java Developer

On behalf of our client, we are looking for the two different profiles:

1. A highly technical development that will work primarily with the more technical and abstracts aspects of software development, such as:

Building frameworks for other developers
Data modeling and code generation tools
Performance optimization of more complex application components

2. A business domain developer that will work with the implementation of business functionality and needs to understand and interact with customers, tasks will include:

Implementation of advisory modules, for example within investment or insurance
Implementation of country-specific tax calculation or similar local business rules
Implementation of credit risk management
Integration to customer specific system, typically finance of insurance systems
Will have to understand complete end-to-end customer business processes

Common to both profiles:

- The client is interested in both young super talent (min. 2 years relevant experience after graduation) as well as experienced senior developers (preferably 2 of each)
- Must work in flat Scandinavian organizational structure and culture which means informal work environment, few/no formal titles and self-direction without micromanagement
- Does NOT have to have experience from the financial industry, but is an advantage
- The customer has a mature development organization, so candidates should expect to be professionally challenged
- The candidates should have a solid theoretical background with a Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, IT engineering or similar
