Inside Channel Account Manager (m/f/d)

My client is an US Computer Networking market-leader with an international presence in over 25 countries and over 20 years of company history. Due to a steady increase in revenue they are expanding their Team on the DACH market and are looking for an Inside Channel Account Manager (m/f/d) in Munich.
Reporting to the Channel Director this person will be responsible for growing the market by identifying new strategic partners and new business opportunities within existing accounts.

Further tasks are going to be:
• Execute the sales strategy in order to achieve the POS target on the assigned territory;
• Identify key partners, build relationships and develop the business with them;
• Assist Partners on the phone and email to spot and close projects;
• Implement channel partner programs and promotions;
• Build forecast and deliver expected channel sell-through (‘POS’);
• Build and maintain strong product knowledge to increase sales effectiveness;
• Coordinate with distributor’s local teams and supervise their activities to ensure common objectives are met;

You should bring:
• Relevant experience, preferably in an inside commercial sales role
• Experience in channel sales of Network or Storage solutions is a PLUS;
• Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated and self- starter;
• Dynamic personality to develop relationship at all levels in partner/reseller organization;
• Strong interpersonal and business relationship building skills;
• Understand how vendors and partners work together to achieve customer satisfaction
• Business fluency in German and good English skills
