Fund Accountant (based in Malta)

What is expected of you?

Complete the NAV calculation
Process security and cash transactions
Monitor the fund's cash activity and prepare broker reconciliations
Communicate with prime brokers and investment managers to resolve cash breaks
Monitor portfolio positions and respond to enquiries in a timely manner
Process corporate actions to reconcile cash accounts and positions
Assist with the preparation of payments
Various other day-to-day administrative duties as required

What are you expected to bring?

An industry relevant degree
Knowledge and understanding of securities and other financial instruments
An ability to work to and meet strict deadlines
Excellent communications skills, both written and spoken
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office applications
Previous experience with Paxus would be considered an asset
A flexible approach to work
