Sophia High Tech is an engineering outsourcing services company for customers all over the world that need support in IT, Hardware and Testing activities with headquarter in Italy.
Sophia High Tech is supporting Bombardier, the world's leading manufacturer of both planes and trains. In order to expand their team in Germany, we are looking for:

Electronics Test Engineer (Location: Mannheim, Germany)

Responsibilities:
- Performing development testing for electronics and power electronics units
- Planning of tests and validation of changes for the electronics development team
- Close cooperation with the electronics development team, pro-actively working on design improvements
- Creation of test reports and explaining them both internally and to customers
- Maintaining a test setup, gradually improving it and increase testing capabilities of an existing test setup
- Responsibility for electrical safety on test bench and working on improvement of general tidiness and material availability in the testing facilities

Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- At least 1 year of development testing in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of CANoe and/or similar CAN bus related tools
- Knowledge of circuit design and power electronics
- Knowledge of software programming for example C
- Experience with IBM Doors and RTC
- Experience in power electronics, energy
- Fluency in English
- Analytical thinking and structured approach
