Director – Wealth Management

JOB OVERVIEW

This Hong Kong based company is progressively developing “advanced market” wealth management solutions and require an established wealth manager / private banker, to join our exciting journey. The role is to successfully manage high net worth individuals’ finances, within the company’s client mandates.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

* Independently able to attract new high net worth clients through referrals, networking and successfully onboard company derived leads.
* Independently manage the complexities of investment portfolios, taxes and estate planning related issues.
* Able to multi-task administrative tasks, compliance requirements and client relations. You will be able to employ your own Personal Assistant.
* Able to perform against mutually pre-agreed targets.

Please note: A minimum of (ten) 10years experience working in wealth management or private banking business is a requirement. This position is NOT for someone from the accounting / auditing or financial management profession. This is a client facing, sales and targets driven profession. Please only apply if you have the required 10yrs or more wealth management experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

* University education is preferred
* At least 10 years of financial services experience, demonstrably managing more than USD15 million or, if a Private Banker, USD50 million.
* Team player, conscientious and honest attributes
* Already have, or willing to achieve, the HKCIB and HKSFC licenses
* Self-driven, healthy and wants to be a part of something meaningful.

They have raised capital and, accordingly, can offer the right person either a:

* “Golden-handshake” (lump sum or as initial salary), generous percentage of personal revenue and, potentially, equity participation.
* Salary plus quarterly bonuses. A share option scheme will also be available.
