For one of our clients – a company that operates the areas of cosmetics, detergents and personal care sales in Bulgaria - we are looking for a Chief Accountant ( Главен Счетоводител).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for strategic direction and planning for the Accounting team;
* Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines;
* Responsible for the annual external audit and annual financial report preparation;
* Maintaining adequate internal controls as well as financial accounting policies and procedures;
* Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and control;
* Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.

Requirements:
* Master degree in Finance or Accounting. Government Finance and Accounting experience preferred;
* Experience in accounting and/or auditing experience required plus minimum of 3 years of
supervisory/management experience in the Finance/Accounting industry;
* Experience with enterprise web-applications;
* Minimum of Intermediate English language level;
* Problem solving and decision-making skills.
