Cash Collector (German)

The Company.

For one of our clients, an international Shared Service Centre based in Barcelona, we are currently recruiting for Cash Collector with a native level of German and an excellent level of English.

The Job.

This role you would be a member of the Continental Europe Order to Cash (O2C) department and being a part of the Cash Collection Team for Northern Europe.
Your responsibilities:

– Manage collection activities for the assigned country, business, region or office customer portfolio
– Perform follow up actions by email or phone calls (inbound / outbound)
– Responsible for achieving collection targets and reducing outstanding debt helped by the newly implemented collection tool
– Liaise with the Billing Team to ensure a coordinated and effective order to cash cycle
– Coordinate with the Cash Allocation Team to guarantee accurate customer payment matching
– Disputes management directly or in relation with consultants and back-office departments (Invoicing, Client Risk and Temp Billing)
– Recovery Actions according to the assessment of the client risk and credit limits fixed by the company

The Profile.

– You have a native level of German and an excellent level of English (any additional language would be a plus)
– You have min. 1,5 years of experience in Cash Collection
– You have a strong customer focus
– You are dynamic, organized with a methodical approach
– You have been working with Microsoft Suite and SharePoint
– You have good negotiation and communication skills (spoken and written)
– You have the ability to handle a high volume of actions (outbound and inbound calls, payment negotiation, disputes)
– You pay attention to details and you are a team player
– You have the ability to work under pressure to attain company objectives and Cash Collection KPIs
