Business Development Manager

Identifying new markets and business opportunities and arrange meetings with potential customers
Generate the Sales pipeline
Prepare and perform Sales presentations to generate new business
Participate in corporate events both locally and internationally
Oversee the organisation of conferences and corporate events locally and internationally
Planning and overseeing, advertising and promotion activities
Overseeing and evaluating market research and adjusting marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
Making initial customer contact through visits to prospect for new business
Maintaining and developing relationships with customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
Acting as a contact between the Company and its existing and potential markets
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
Gathering information regarding market trends and provide feedback to the management upon which sales strategies can be formulated
Developing and continue to strengthen the client’s brand image on all mediums including Web site, presentations, events and social media channels
Adopt a flexible approach to adopt to the requirements of the business

Comfortable with targeting new business
Great communication skills whether it be face to face, Skype, phone or email
Ability to persuasively demonstrate product and industry knowledge to clients
Tenacious, Driven and Self motivated
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Good knowledge of the Maltese / foreign market
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
Willing to travel abroad to get new business
