Business Analyst (based in Malta)

Are you a problem-solver? Do you enjoy assessing company procedures and recommending improvements? We are looking for a mature, reliable and energetic individual for a dynamic company in the transport sector in Malta.

What is expected of you?

Define procedures and processes of all the departments of the organisation to have a holistic view of the company
Conduct business re-engineering reviews on existing and new procedures with the aim of improving customer service, reducing cost and increasing efficiency
Strengthen internal controls and improve quality
Lead a continuous process of documentation and process definition
Liaise with the management team to discuss changes in existing procedures, draft new processes and prepare annual internal control audits
Follow up on processes issued and amend as required, including the management reviews and control of non-conformities
Deliver assigned projects within the stipulated timeframes, costs and agreed scope
Collect and analyse feedback obtained from meetings and create the necessary tools to communicate processes, providing research materials and other data points to formulate clear and well-organised procedures
Issue reports on internal compliance checks and audits including recommendations for improvement
Issue reports regularly on testing activities including goals, plans, schedules, analysis, conclusions and recommendations
Assimilate results into coherent presentation and reports
Communicate results to the management committee on a regular basis
Any other task assigned by the General Manager

Cerințe

What are you expected to bring?

Bachelors’ degree in either Business Management and Administration, Accounts, Engineering or similar qualification
2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
Proven experience in process design, documentation and drafting of procedures
Previous experience in implementing and monitoring standards (ISO) will be considered an asset
An ability to work accurately and with attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Excellent English communication skills
A high level of business literacy skills
Be analytical and numerical
An ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
