Environmental Internship in Cameroon

If you are interested in developing projects geared towards aiding the environment and encouraging tourism, then this might be the project for you. Share your skills with local communities to help them create and build up tourist initiatives.

Belo will benefit from developing sustainable farming practices and developing businesses as a means to mitigate poverty. RUDEC will provide training and support to local farmers on how farm using environmentally friendly techniques including keeping bees so that they can supplement their income and increase their capacity. RUDEC further promotes tree nursery planting and organic farming as a means to continue to build environmental protection. We use some of the revenue generated through a small farm in order to support our Sponsor a Child program. Environmental Interns will help to expand programs for the environment, instruct seminars to teach farmers about farming practices, and provide technical experience and expertise to current projects.

- Teach and instruct local farmers on developing tree nurseries, environmentally friendly farming techniques, organic farming initiatives, global warming prevention, low-cost/high yield crops, and any other skills and expertise.
- Teach and train local stakeholders in technical matters
- Find avenues for funding in order to develop these initiatives
- Help to manage the farm that generates income for RUDEC and improve pre-existing initiatives
