The Mission of HELP International is to empower people to fight global poverty through sustainable, life-changing development programs.
In doing so, HELP sends ambitious volunteers and interns to the option of 6 various countries during the summer. Participants may choose to stay in either Belize, Fiji, India, Peru, Thailand, and Uganda for anywhere from 1-3 months. During their time there they will devise customized programs which assist local communities and receive internship credit. We have also recently opened a winter/spring program in Uganda and another in Thailand. They run from January until April and participants can join the program for 6 or 12 weeks.
HELP has grown to be a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving in a variety of projects such as earthquake relief, microfinance impact assessment, family gardening, business training and teaching English as a second language. HELP has grown and changed through the years but continues to focus on facilitating poverty elimination worldwide.
