Master in Media and Design

<p>In innovative professions, the demand for management knowledge and management qualifications has risen suddenly in recent years.</p>
<p>The Master's course in "Media and Design" is aimed primarily at brilliant designers who wish to apply a wide-ranging understanding of design to tasks and processes. However, it is different points of view which broaden one's perspective, creating the fertile soil for true innovation. Therefore applicants from a diverse background are welcome, be they engineers, natural scientists or creative people. During their studies the Master's degree students learn to think about and analyze management and design together, and make decisions and shape the future.</p>
<p>Within the interdisciplinary team, Master's degree students cultivate solutions to design problems, be they in relation to strategy design, service design or human-centered design. This is also relevant for those starting up companies, as the initial stages of a new business is a design process. The goal is to become "T-shaped professionals", in other words, graduates with a comprehensive, interdisciplinary qualification (so-called horizontal qualification) who also bring to the team very specialist (vertical) knowledge in design.</p>
