If you’ve found this site, you’re likely looking for a way to spend some time overseas, whether it be working, volunteering, studying, interning or living abroad. We’re your resource on programs to use, advice from those who have been there and general information on going abroad.

Interested in advancing your education? Check out our database of study abroad programs, language schools and graduate courses all over the world for every possible interest, including photography, DJing, bartending and more traditional options.

Further your career after graduation by finding intern abroad programs, which will differentiate you from the competition when it’s time to apply for jobs. Most jobs are in technical and medical fields, but some are for the creative fields. The internships set you up with a job and sometimes a place to live and a stipend. Many internships also offer college credit for those still studying.

HelpGoAbroad.com also helps you find work overseas, with job postings and information on programs that offer English teaching jobs. There is also a section on jobs catered to those on gap years who want to both travel and work. English teaching programs offer both TEFL courses and certification overseas that can lead to jobs.

If you’re interested in volunteering, HGA has listings of projects all over the world working with children, wildlife conservation and medical assistance.

Over on the HelpGoAbroad blog, you’ll find expert advice from travelers who have been there. We feature topics like the best places to see in Bangkok and how to get started working in Australia. Over on the message boards, you can ask about what to bring on your trip, read about experiences from those who have done it and find out what kinds of visas are required.
