Spanish Classes, Homestays and Social Justice in El Salvador

The CIS (Centro de Intercambio y Solidaridad) is a Salvadoran NGO which has been working in El Salvador since the Peace Accords.
The Melida Anaya Montes Spanish School teaches Spanish while discussing Salvadoran history, culture and current reality. The school touches on social justice topics.
We can provide a complete package, Homestays, Spanish Classes in the morning, Afternoon outtings with a blinigual guide, and you can volunteer to teach English for a discount on Spanish classes if you are available to stay for a full English cycle (10weeks).
The CIS has other programs in El Salvador such as:
Access to Clean Water, Women's Small Businesses, Fair Trade Craft Store, Scholarship and Youth Formation, Election Observation and other programs.

The CIS provides a volunteer or Spanish student with everything they need, housing, classes, orientation to their new home etc.
We can also provide unique experiences for people interested in visiting small communities or projects of the CIS, seeing how some women's small businesses run like learning how to dye indigo for example.
On the weekends, you are free to do what you like or we can help you organize trips to the Beach, Volcanoes, Hot Springs etc.
