Program Description
Located in the beautiful, friendly coastal city of Wilmington, North Carolina, UNCW offers a high-quality intensive immersion English as a Second Language Program, accredited by CEA. We have great instructors, a beautiful campus, and the beach is only 10 minutes away! The sunny, southern climate, historical downtown area, and the Cape Fear river are some of the features that students enjoy.
Our program is academic and a great way to get into a degree program, thanks to an effective conditional admission policy! We are student-centered, have classes in all areas of language learning, as well as elective courses for Test Preparation and Popular Culture. Besides classes, students enjoy weekly excursions, activities, and much more. We feature a conversation partner program as well as friendship family program.
There are two scholarships given to students who qualify for each full semester program.
Our program start dates are in January, June, and August. Please check our web site for more information.
