VMWare / Hypervisor Consultant
Job Description
Key Skills Required:
Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
Good documentation skills
Experience with VMWare 5.5 hypervisor products.
Should have an excellent customer handling skills
VMWare Infrastructure Administration and management with vRealize and VxRail knowledge
Installations for security patches, functional patches and version upgrades
Performance tuning of ESX server. Document support processes
Interact with Service desk supervision team for Verification of solutions. Maintain Compliance with
Corporate Security Policies.
Security Policies: Work together with the security team, identify the server venerability issues and resolving them
Responsible for restoration of data. VMware ESX (from version 2.5 to the latest release)
Proficient on VMware technologies like: -VMware High-Availability, VMware Vmotion, VMware DRS,
Provide 2nd level systems support
VCP, (Essential), ITIL (Would be added advantage)
