Training Coordinator (Maternity Leave)

Job Description

This a Home Office position with occasional work in the office in Oeiras.

The training coordinator primary responsibility will be to serve as the main trainer for the Service Desk and to create and execute development programs for our Global Service desks.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, create and update the training program & development programs.
Coordinate with other departments all actions required around new starters onboarding.
Deliver the training for the new starters and current analysts.
Follow corporate performance and industry standards.
Coordinate and schedule the training and development activities of the Service Desk.
Identify gaps in existing training material and provide proactive solutions.
Proactively identify, analyze and communicate trends, assess findings of audits to identify the need of quality coaching or other corrective actions within the teams.
Prepare Daily/weekly/monthly status reports.
Backup in Talent Management knowledge.

Requirements

Excellent written and oral English communication skills
Ability to lead, coach, develop and train staff effectively
Health & Safety Certification is a great advantage!
Excellent customer service orientation
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
Excellent organization, planning and time management skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines and ad-hoc requests
Must work well independently, as well as within a team environment
Ability to be creative and innovative
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of the organization
Motivated self-starter, proactive with initiative to work and learn.
Ability to multitask and use various tools simultaneously.
Ability to maintain high standards of work while under reduced supervision.


Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree (will be consider as a plus), minimum of 2 year of experience in Service Desks, 1-2 years previous training or coaching experience as a Trainer or Coach or Monitor and/or any equivalent education and/or experience.
