Technical Compliance Officer

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Technical Compliance Officer to join our clients awesome Compliance team! They are looking for someone with a strong background in IT security as well as strong experience in the game certification process and system auditing.

The Technical Compliance Officer will be responsible for creating procedures and work with the relevant teams to deliver certification in the required time frame with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities:

Take the lead role in ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant regulations, licence requirements and certifications
Take ownership of all technical compliance aspects of regulations and best practice standards such as ISO-27001, COBIT, OWASP, PCI-DSS 3.1, GDPR
Conduct periodic internal reviews and audits to test ongoing compliance
Arrange, prepare for and manage external audits, and reporting your findings to management, relevant personnel, and relevant regulators
Responsible for regulatory reporting across the group’s jurisdictions, including scheduling, compiling, checking and uploading reports for submission in conjunction with the relevant key personnel
Analyse action points and non-compliances raised in audits, and ensure that they are addressed in accordance with agreed deadlines
Take ownership of key aspects of external third-party audits in accordance with licensing requirements
Review and amend all technical policies to ensure they are up to date with all relevant rules, laws and regulations and ensure that proper processes are in place to reflect such policies
Proactively research technical requirements and regulations for all relevant markets, and liaise with senior management and relevant personnel to enable solutions for compliance within that relevant market
Investigate tech requirements for new markets and assist with developing solutions for that market
Act as first point of reference for management for questions relating to the technical standards and regulatory compliance
Continuously assess product, compliance, and operational risks, and develop risk management strategies for the organisation, and scheduling of compliance tasks
Work closely with the relevant regulators to ensure the company is compliant, including acting as a point of contact for such bodies and to notify them of key events as required
Responsible for identification of compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation

Requirements

Requirements:

Qualification or professional certification in a relevant field, ideally in Information Systems or Computer Science
Experience within a similar role within the iGaming industry with an understanding of online gaming legislation
A firm understanding of industry best practice standards and requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent English Language Skills
