System Administrator Linux

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

We are looking for a Talented System Administrator, with experience in Linux, to join our team in Barcelona for the Google Cloud Platform support team.Your main responsibility will be providing outstanding technical support for Google Cloud Platform products and solutions including Google Compute Engine and related services.

You will be providing technical support to Networking products (as load balancing, firewall rules, routes, VPN’s..) and Infrastructure products (as Windows and Linux Servers, scripts, Kubernetes, server configuration..)

Minimum requirements:

100% fluent in English (minimum C1)
European citizenship or work permit in Spain
Previous experience as Linux system administration
Familiar with web protocols (HTTP, TLS, SSL etc)
Understanding of Networking
Ability to read and understand logs and stack traces.
Ability to research using internal knowledge bases and public facing documentation (Google Developers, StackOverflow..)

Desirable requirements:
Background in SQL (plus)
Containerization knowledge (LXC, Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
Familiarity with modern API technologies (OAuth, HTTP RPCs)

WHAT YOU WILL GET

You will get a full time and permanent contract with an international company, with the chance to grow up and develop your career in the IT Field. You will also receive two months of paid training.

The salary package will be 30.000€ gross a year (25.575€ as base salary plus 3.000€ gross a year as bonus and 1.540€ a year as ticket restaurant).

We work with two different shifts that are rotating (6am to 3pm, 9am to 6pm), and you will be working one weekend a month. Being extra paid in case that you do so.
