FIELD BASED ROLE:
Sage is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to be a part of our sales organization representing our People product line.

Sage provides a compelling opportunity for Sales Professionals with a proven track record of exceeding quota in enterprise application software (SaaS) sales. As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide sales initiatives into a territory. You must be able to drive strategic sales activity while achieving quota and creating satisfied customers that can be referenced in future sales cycles. You must be the key contact for executive discovery sessions, strategizing solution offerings, deploying the necessary People product specialists and resources, and ultimately working with our Customers for Life organization to ensure a successful implementation across a broad set of offerings, locations, and business needs.

Requirements

10+ years of solution sales experience with 5+ years selling HCM applications to large enterprise
clients
• Strong W2 track record and history of carrying and exceeding a sales quota
• Account planning and execution skills
• Ability to sell C-Level and across both HR and business units
• Passion and commitment to customer success
• Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise
return on investment value statement.
• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and
work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex,
collaborative, and team-oriented environment
• Experience selling Software (Cloud/SaaS)
• Understanding of Force.com
• High level of professional courtesy, mutual respect, and ethics
• Ability to create a complete territory business plan that generates at least 3x their quota
in pipeline opportunity
• Leads efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue attainment
within a territory
