We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our team in Barcelona city (Av.Roma, 157 1º) to develop the next generation Verbio TTS (Text-to-Speech) core engine.

The next generation TTS engine will be based on the latest Statistical Parametric Speech Synthesis technology. We are willing to create a new product that will take benefits from the latest DNN architectures. The new generation engine will be designed and implemented by a team of experts in several areas ranging from Signal Processing to NLP and Artificial Intelligence, as well as software optimization and hardware accelerators.
The hired person will join the TTS R&D team, contributing in the entire TTS software pipeline to achieve the best speech synthesis system for our customers, both in results and performance.

The person will be part of a highly experienced team in speech technologies and Artificial Intelligence, aimed at achieving the best speech recognition system for our customers, both in results and performance.

Required Skills:

● Computer Science/Telecommunications Engineering degree.
● Experience on speech processing: TTS, CSR, Biometrics, etc.
● General machine learning skills.
● Ability to program fluently in OO languages such as C++ or Python.

Nice to have:

● Experience implementing DNNs architectures (highly recommended)
● Experience with DNNs toolkits such as Theano, Caffe or Tensorflow
● Experience with some kind of hardware accelerators (GPUs, TPUs, FPGAs, …)
