Senior Technical Project Manager

You will be a member of highly skilled teams who design, develop, deploy, customize and support technologies produced in the context of the e-Parliament Program. You will have the opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of services and technologies.

Your Role as a Senior Technical Project Manager:

Manages software development project full life cycle
Works closely with the technical teams and clients and is the main point of contact for a project
Provides project advice and consultancy to clients
Manages project resources, changes and risks
Documents and communicates project management artifacts to the development team and all stakeholders as appropriate
Independently and proactively analyses and communicates issues, priorities, and objectives
Identifies risks and proposes risk mitigation strategies
The candidate will work in Luxembourg with ad-hoc missions in Luxembourg

Your Profile as a Senior Technical Project Manager:
A Master degree in Computer Science or another relevant field
8 years PM experience
Agile based development methodology - Scrum
Proven experience in managing and designing large Java based applications
Proven experience in writing technical and management level documentation
Experience with PM tools
Microsoft Project
MS Word
MS Excel
JIRA
Technical expertise in the following technologies
Java 1.7, Servlets / JSP
Spring / Spring MVC / Spring Security
JTA, Hibernate
SOAP & REST web services
Oracle DB
Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written)
Nice to Have:
Experience in the following technologies will be considered as a plus:
JCR (JackRabbit)
JBPM – Jboss Business Process Management
Maven
Subversion, Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar
Selenium
Knowledge of French (verbal and written)
Knowledge of financial regulations of the European institutions
