Senior Software Engineer C#

Our Client’s SDC department needs a senior software engineer, for maintenance and new applications. These applications are MES applications, client-server applications (mostly using databases), web and Sharepoint applications.

This person must be able to:
• Design and build high quality solutions based on functional designs and current
architecture
• Diagnose problems and solve issues
• Quickly understand the technical domain and its pitfalls
• Work closely with architects, developers/designers and information analysts
• Work in both traditional and agile projects

Bachelor IT level and approximately 5 years’ experience.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• You have a Master Degree in Software Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science or
equivalent
• Approximately 5 years’ experience with model based software environments such as
Simulink
• Proven track record with development methodologies like Agile/Scrum
• Proven track record of C#6, .NET 4.5/4.6, ASP.NET, MVC 4/5 , WCF ( both client and
server side), XML, MSMQ and SQL Server 2014/2016 is a must
• Experience with Unit Testing, MSI, TFS /VSTS and Sharepoint is a big asset.
• You enjoy working in cross-functional teams; you are curious, open and feel at home in
a dynamic environment
• Strong technical skills in embedded software development
• Affinity with innovative development projects and comfortable with relatively vague
requirements
• Fluent in English language - effective communication in both verbal and written form;
willing to learn Dutch language
