Senior Project Manager/Transition Manager (f/m/d)

• Understand the client’s complex business problems and prepare project plans, procedures and implementation schedules to address them
• Scope the work required and be accountable within the framework of the Getronics Project Management Methodology for the development of workable project plans and financial models
• Assign resources, monitor progress and take corrective action to deliver solutions within project budget and timelines
• Selects, develops and leads diverse teams of people, either on specific projects in the short or long term or regarding several projects on an ongoing basis
• Solves problems to the satisfaction of both the customer and Getronics
• Accountable for the relationship with clients regarding solutions, project expectations, execution and issues arising
• Accountable for the evaluation and management of appropriate testing methodologies
• Negotiate with clients on project parameters and ensures contractual commitments, obligations and performance levels are met
• Produce reports for Getronics and the client as required
• Identify and exploit opportunities for new business with clients (pre-sales activity)
• Support and coach more junior colleagues as appropriate
• Know, understand and apply corporate standards (methods, tools and processes)
• Use corporate IP (knowledge bases) wherever possible and contribute to it by materialising experience gained in projects

• University degree and at least 5 years’ work experience
• Required certifications and experience of managing/ co-ordinating projects
• Experience of service take on and service introduction in a managed services customer engagement
• Experience of set up and management of multi-vendor service providers in an ITIL based service model
• Track record of experience to deliver changes and project request in support of service management
• Evidence of cost control and understanding of pricing for additional change scopes
• English (mandatory) and German (mandatory) language fluency
