With a worldwide footprint of engineering centers, testing labs and manufacturing facilities, Transportation Systems serves all major automotive companies to implement key differentiated technology offerings.
As a testimony to its success, in 2018 Honeywell will be spinning off the Transportation Systems business into a stand-alone, publicly traded company. Being a stand-alone company will provide Transportation Systems the independence, focus, direct financial resources, and flexibility required to adapt quickly to market and customer dynamics, and we want you to be part of its evolution. Main responsibilities
• Provide payroll support to ensure employees get paid on time, every time by verifying data accuracy and meeting compliance.
• You will apply your creativity and problem solving techniques to resolve critical employee issues. You will utilize your payroll functional expertise to align critical human resources principles with Honeywell business objectives.
• Join a team delivering right and fast payroll solutions for Honeywell while maintaining integrity and compliance
• Add value to the team by utilizing your analytical capabilities and high attention to detail when creating cross-functional partnerships
• Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Human Resources organization
Requirements
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

• Some payroll experience, or similar relevant experience
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local payroll policies and procedures
• Ability to perform all payroll related activities at a high level, with minimal or no supervision required
• Ability to connect experiences, observations ,and other pieces of information to see patterns and draw conclusions not readily apparent to others
• Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. Takes the initiative to get things done before being asked by others or being forced to by events
• Analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts and make recommendations to leaders as appropriate
