What’s is expected of you?

Build professional relationships with stakeholders, by listening, advising, consulting and influencing the operational risk management across various business areas
Assist the Risk function by producing management information and summarising key risk indicators and their trends
Maintain the organisation’s risk register and coordinate Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) sessions
Liaise with the Management with regards to testing of controls and ensure that the results and conclusions are clearly reported across the business areas
Provide appropriate levels of constructive support when the business experiences operational risk events
Assist the Management in preparing and maintaining the Bank’s business continuity plans by reviewing the success of the processes through periodical testing
Participate in other work undertaken by the Operational Risk whilst, ensuring that the team’s deliverables are produced to a high standard
Implement the three lines of defence model for the Operational Risk team to help support the embedding and maintenance of an effective and pragmatic approach towards operational risk management
Deputise for the Operational Risk Manager in their absence

What are you expected to bring?

Bachelor’s Degree in Maths, Statistics, or Finance
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to work on own initiative and in a pro-active manner
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to drive change effectively
Capable of building effective working relationships with stakeholders at every level of the business
Aptitude towards personal development
