SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

Our client one of the most successful engaging system providers is looking for a Senior Java Developer for their growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-value solutions that support our customers in providing excellent Application programming interface solutions. While the role primarily is focused on hybrid multi-cloud API and microservices management platform there are opportunities to work across the full stack from UI to end data points.

The Value You Deliver

Work with cross-functional agile team to understand project objectives, use cases and systems design requirements where you will own and build new features for the API Management Platform

Develop original and creative technical solutions.
Work independently on delivering complex technical features.
May determine and develop approaches to solutions.
Report status, identify issues/ risks proactively and provide alternative plans for recovery.
Communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Mentoring of junior team members.
Help to define development standards for the team.
Skills & Experience required:

BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Minimum 5+ years of application design & development experience in TDD, Web Services (SOAP/REST), Java
Knowledge of WSO2 API Management and API Cloud would be beneficial
Knowledge of Selenium and webdriver would be beneficial
Exposure to HTML5, CSS, React.js and Javascript is desired but not essential
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at a given time.
Nice to have

Experience with Python or Golang
Working knowledge of container technologies such as Docker
Exposure to cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure
Kubernetes experience
API design best practice and API security
