Senior Informatics Specialist

Serve as connection point and represent NNRCSI in global IT and informatics projects, including defining and communicate NNRCSI informatics needs. Optimize workflows and exchange of research data within NNRCSI and to the global organization. Develop or acquire new systems and software in collaboration with GRI. Conduct end-user training and technical support of informatics systems in NNRCSI. Participate in pharmaceutical research projects as informatics specialist. This implies, but is not limited to, assisting with data capture and analysis. Promote use of data analysis in research projects. Participate in maintenance and management of GRI systems (E.g. user administration, incident handling, etc.).

Education Level: BSc in Life Sciences, Computer Sciences, or Informatics required, MSc preferred.

Resolute and able to negotiate
Structured approach and detail oriented
Excellent written and oral communication skills is required
IT project manager experience desired
Practical experience with data visualization desired
Experience from pharmaceutical industry within the following areas is desired:
5+ years of experience
Documentation of pharmaceutical processes or business process reengineering
Design or use of IT in science/laboratory settings
Member of IT projects (E.g. requirement specification, user acceptance test, development)
